- 2015 September 10 SIDX 7 now supports Hamamatsu cameras. We are testing the support, and are not yet ready for general release. So far, the testing has been done using a Hamamatsu Flash 4.0 (sCMOS) camera. If you have an SIDX 7 license, and would like to test the SIDX 7 Hamamatsu camera support, please use the latest engineering build.
- 2015 September 9 SIDX 7 has revised handling of high-speed archiving to disk. This revised handling is important when using a camera that acquires data faster than the disk writes data. The revised handling fixes acquisition buffer overrun handling. When a new camera image would overwrite an existing memory image while the existing image is being written to disk, SIDX now properly reports an error.
- 2015 May 22: SIDX 6 may not be able to open Andor Technology cameras using the most recent Andor Technology camera drivers. SIDX 6 may fail to open Andor cameras. We are working on a solution. This issue does not affect SIDX 7.
