Notes

Time and Split Clock

If your ABF file is recorded with two sampling intervals, the dialog operates as if the data were acquired only at the first sampling rate. For example, suppose your episode has a total of 200 points consisting of 100 points acquired at an interval of 0.1ms/sample, followed by 100 points acquired at 1ms/sample. The episode represents 10ms of recording at 0.1ms/sample followed by 100ms of recording at 1.0ms/sample. If you specify a start time of 0s and an end time of 0.015s, the 15ms time interval is interpreted at the first sampling rate of 0.1ms/sample, resulting in 150 samples. These 150 samples actually correspond to 60ms, that is, 100 samples at 0.1ms/sample, followed by 50 samples at 1ms/sample.
