This page describes the contents of the Acquire data import dialog.
Parameters
File parameters. The parameters are:
- Comment
- A file comment. The comment is supplied by the user during recording.
- Created
- The file creation date and time
- Sampling interval
- The interval between successive samples on the same channel. This is also called the frame interval.
- Technique
- A text string supplied by a script during recording that can contain information useful for data analysis.
Series
A list of the series in the file. Only one series can be selected at a time. For each series the following information is displayed:
- Index
- A sequential index for the series within the file
- Start
- The starting time of the series within the file
- Comment
- A comment supplied by the user during recording
- Technique
- A text string supplied by a script during recording. This text string can contain information useful for data analysis.
Sweeps
A list of the sweeps within the selected series. Only one sweep can be selected at a time. For each sweep the following information is displayed:
- Index
- A sequential index for the sweep within the series
- Start
- The starting time of the sweep within the series
- Duration
- The duration of the sweep
- Comment
- A comment supplied by the user during recording
- Technique
- A text string supplied by a script during recording. This text string can contain information useful for data analysis.
Markers
A list of the markers within the selected sweep. For each marker the following information is displayed:
- Control channel
- The name of the control channel on which the marker was recorded
- Text
- The marker text
- Time
- The time of the marker within the sweep
- Value
- The value associated with the marker
Segments
A list of the segments within the selected sweep. For each segment the following information is displayed:
- Index
- A sequential index for the segment within the sweep
- Start time
- The starting time of the segment within the sweep
- Frames
- The number of frames acquired within the segment. This is the number of samples recorded on each data channel.
The duration of the segment is the number of frames times the sampling interval within the file. For example, if the sampling interval for the file is 100 microseconds, and the number of frames is 2000, the segment duration is 200ms.
You can select an arbitrary collection of segments.
Channels
A list of the acquired data channels within the file. An arbitrary collection of channels can be selected. For each channel the following information is displayed:
- Index
- A sequential index for the channel within the file
- Label
- A text label for the channel, supplied by the user
- Signal
- The name of the signal for the channel, supplied by the user
Data
A graph of the currently selected data.
Vertical lines delimit the data that will be imported. You can move the lines by dragging them with the mouse.
