PatchMaster Import Dialog

This page describes the contents of the PatchMaster data import dialog.

Parameters

File parameters. The parameters are:

Comment
A comment supplied by the user
Created
The date and time when the file was created

Group

A list of the groups in the file. For each group the following information is displayed:

Index
The index of the group within the file
Label
A group label set during recording
Comment
A group comment set during recording

Only one group can be selected at a time.

Series

A list of the series within the selected group. For each series the following information is displayed:

Index
The index of the series within the group
Label
A series label set during recording
Interval
The sampling interval at which successive data points were acquired
Comment
A series comment set during recording

Only one series can be selected at a time.

Sweeps

A list of the sweeps within the selected series. For each sweep the following information is displayed:

Index
The index of the sweep within the series
Start
The starting time of the sweep within the series
Channels
The number of channels acquired within the sweep
Samples
The maximum number of samples of data acquired within the sweep
Internal solution
The index of the internal solution
External solution
The index of the external solution

The duration of the sweep is the number of samples times the sampling interval within the series. For example, if the sampling interval for the series is 100 microseconds, and the number of samples is 2000, the sweep duration is 200ms.

Note however that not all channels need have the same sample count. This number represents the largest sample count of the channels.

Note that the channel data may be decimated in which case the number of samples stored for the channel will be less than the series sample count. In this case, the data will be resampled by interpolation by the import filter to have the same sample interval as originally recorded.

An arbitrary collection of sweeps can be selected.

Channels

A list of the acquired data channels within the file. For each channel the following information is displayed:

Label
A text label for the channel
Units
The units of the channel data

You can select an arbitrary collection of channels.

Stimulus Channels

A list of the stimulus channels used. For each stimulus channel the following information is displayed:

Label
A text label for the channel
Units
The units of the channel data

You can select an arbitrary collection of stimulus channels.

Data

A graph of the currently selected data.

Vertical lines delimit the data that will be imported. You can move the lines by dragging them with the mouse.

Include

Data
If this box is checked, the selected channel data will be imported
Raw data
If this box is checked, raw data for the selected channels will be imported. This is the data without leak subtraction.
Stimulus
If this box is checked, the selected stimulus waveforms will be imported.
Leak
If this box is checked, the leak data for the selected channels will be imported
Time
If this box is checked, a time column is included when the data is imported
