SON Import Dialog

This page describes the contents of the Cambridge Electronic Design SON data import dialog.

Parameters

File parameters. Only parameters that apply to the current file are displayed. The parameters are:

Comment
A comment supplied by the user
Created
The file creation date and time

Segments

A list of the segments in the file. For each segment the following information is displayed:

Index
A sequential index for the series within the file
Time
The starting time of the segment within the file
Count
The number of samples acquired within the segment, that is, the number of data values recorded for each channel.

To specify that data from a given segment be imported, select that segment in the list. Any combination of segments can be selected.

Channels

A list of the acquired data channels recorded in the file. For each channel the following information is displayed:

Label
A text label for the channel, provided by the user during recording.
Type
The channel type. The type is one of:

EventFall
EventRise
EventBoth
Marker
AdcMark
RealMark
TextMark
RealWave
Units
The units of the channel data, provided by the user during recording.

To specify that data from a given channel be imported, select that channel in the list.

Data

A graph of the currently selected data.

Vertical lines delimit the data that will be imported. You can move the lines by dragging them with the mouse.

Include

Waveform
If this box is checked, the selected waveform data is imported.
Marker
If this box is checked, the selected marker data is imported. For all marker types the times will be imported. For Marker, AdcMark, RealMark and TextMark markers the identifiers will be imported. For RealMark markers, the values will be imported if the value array is of size one. For TextMark markers the text will be imported.
Time
If this box is checked, the first (leftmost) column of imported data contains time values.

Buttons

Import
Import the selected data into the analysis program.
Section
Displays the SON section dialog.
Cancel
Cancel the import and close the dialog.
Help
Bring up this text.

Notes

AdcMark

If an AdcMark channel is selected, select Waveform to import the waveform data. Select Event to import the event data.
