Introduction

SIDX is a software package that allows you to control scientific CCD cameras. SIDX contains:

• The SIDXView program.
• Support for scripting image acquisition in many common scientific programming systems.

Using SIDX

1. Installation instructions.
2. SIDXView program. Use SIDXView to acquire images, and to test your camera.
3. Programming samples show you how to get started programming quickly using SIDX.
4. Programming reference for each software package.
5. Camera notes regarding features and capabilities of specific cameras.
