Settable parameters for Andor Technology cameras

Tag Value description
AndorAccumulationCount The number of exposures used to add together to create each of the images when acquiring a sequence of images.
AndorAccumulatedCycleTime The time period in seconds between the start of individual exposure. One exposure results in one image when the accumulation count is one. This value may be adjusted by SIDX when ROI or binning settings are changed. See Kinetic series description for Andor Technology cameras.
AndorAmplifierCurrent The available values are from zero to one less than the AndorAmplifierCount.
The types of output amplifiers are:
0 for standard EMCCD gain register (default).
  1 for conventional CCD register.
AndorADChannelCurrent The available values are from zero to one less than the AndorADChannelCount
AndorBaselineClamp Enable/disable the baseline clamp function on the camera. The available values are:
0 for disabling the baseline clamp function.
1 for enabling the baseline clamp function.
Baseline clamp is used to adjust for temperature fluctuations in the electronics across a kinetic series. Refer to the camera manual for more description of the function.
AndorEMGainCurrent The available values are from zero to one less of the return value of getting camera parameter function with AndorEMGainCount
AndorEMGainMode Choose an EM gain mode by index. The index should be between zero and one less of the return value of getting camera parameter function with AndorEMGainModeCount.
AndorFanModeCurrent The available values are from zero to one less of the return value of getting camera parameter function with AndorFanModeCount
AndorFastKineticVerticalShiftCurrent Choose the fast kinetic vertical shift speed to use. The value should be between zero and the one less than the possible speeds of the system. You may get the possible speeds of the system using getting camera parameter function with AndorFastKineticVerticalShiftCount tag value.
AndorFastKineticWindowOffset The offset of the first row to be used in fast kinetics from the bottom of the CCD.
AndorFrameTransfer 1 to choose the frame transfer mode and 0 to not use frame transfer mode.
AndorHorizontalSpeedCurrent The available values are from zero to one less of the return value of getting camera parameter function with AndorHorizontalSpeedCount
AndorImageOrientationDriver Control the image orientation supplied by SIDX: 0 to recieve the image from SIDX with the same orientation as what is shown in Andor Technology software Solis and 1 to receive the image from SIDX with the same orientation as what is delivered by Andor Technology driver.
AndorKineticCycleTime The time period in seconds between the start of first exposure of the accumulated images. If the accumulation count is 1, AndorKineticCycleTime is the time period in seconds between the start of successive exposures. If the accumulation count is 3, AndorKineticCycleTime is the time period in seconds between the start of first exposure and the fouth exposure and so on. Please notice that the kinetic cycle time may be affected by the accumulation count and the accumulated cycle time. The kinetic cycle time cannot be less than the accumulation count times the accumulated cycle time. When setting either the accumulation count or the accumulated cycle time breaks the role, the kinetic cycle time will be automatically adjusted to equal to the accumulation count times the accumulated cycle time. This value may also be adjusted by SIDX when ROI or binning settings are changed. See Kinetic series description for Andor Technology cameras.
AndorPhotonCounting Set the photon counting state of the camera: 0 to switch photon counting OFF and 1 to switch the photon counting ON.
AndorPhotonCountingMaximum Set the photon counting maximum threshold value.
AndorPhotonCountingMinimum Set the photon counting minimum threshold value.
AndorPreAmplifierGainCurrent The available values are from zero to one less of the return value of getting camera parameter function with AndorPreAmplifierGainCount
AndorReadoutMode The readout mode:
0 for readout as an image. In this mode, the CCD is operated like a camera.
1 for multiple tracks readout mode. Depending on the camera, this mode may not be available. See Camera notes for more details. You may specify one or multiple bands on the CCD using the start and end row to mark the area of each band. See AndorTrack for details on how to specify the bands (tracks). When the readout mode is selected but without specifying the track(s), SIDX will operate as if the full CCD as a single track. When there is one track specified and without specifying AndorTrackGap, SIDX will operate in single track mode. When there is one track specified as well as a non-zero gap, SIDX will operate in multi-track mode with tracks evenly spaced if the camera is capable. To clear the track selection, use the function with AndorTrackClear.
AndorShutterClosingTime The value should be greater than zero in milli-seconds.
AndorShutterTTLHigh 0 for output TTL low signal to open shutter
1 for output TTL high signal to open shutter
AndorSkipCleaning None zero to instruct the camera to skip the cleaning cycle during the external trigger mode only (external trigger to start each exposure) and zero to instruct the camera not to skip the cleaning cycle. The result of skipping the cleaning cycle is to improve the frame rate.
AndorTrack Add a new track for the camera. The input has the start and end row index (starting from one) seperated by "," (comma). For example, to specify a track between row 10 and 20, the input should be "10,20". If a camera does not support multiple randomly spaced track mode (Andor names it "Random Multi-Track" mode), the second call with the parameter will fail.
AndorTrackClear Reset the track selection to none.
AndorTrackGap Set the gap between the tracks. The "gap" parameter is only used in multi-track mode in Andor camera. The user specifies the track height and the distance between the tracks. The camera internally sets the actual position of each track so that the tracks are evenly spaced across the CCD.
AndorVerticalClockVoltageCurrent The available values are from zero to one less of the return value of getting camera parameter function with AndorVerticalClockVoltageCount
AndorVerticalSpeedCurrent The available values are from zero to one less of the return value of getting camera parameter function with AndorVerticalSpeedCount
